1. Serien skulle från början vara en TV film med namnet "Ravens" men när kanalen bestämde att det fanns tillräckligt många bra ideer för att göra det till en serie så byttes namnet till "One Tree Hill".2. Namnet "One Tree Hill" kommer från en U2 låt med samma namn.
3. I första säsongen så har James Laffery's karaktär Nathan Scott sin bröstvårta piercad, James har dock inte en piercing på riktigt utan varje gång han skulle vara utan tröja i en scen så limmade dom dit piercingen.
